Been quoted £515 for a clutch on my focus is this a fair price. Also does the 1.8 petrol have a dual mass flywheel. Some people say yes and other say it hasnt. Had clutch & slave cylinder done last year for £480 inc VAT on my 1.6 diesel at an independent garage so i guess that doesn't sound too bad. Quote.
Ford Focus 1.8 petrol erratic idle - Snakey. My 1.8 Focus had an erratic idle and it was simply one of the HT leads wasnt firmly seated. I've noticed these HT leads seem to gradually work their way loose after a while despite being firmly seated originally. It cured the problem of the occasional stall as well.

I have checked the 02 sensors, sprayed everywhere to check for vacuum leaks, had it serviced, used forscan to check fuel trims, the stf and lft add up to 8 if that, which by industry standards is ok i believe..
The instrument cluster of the focus MK1 can be changed without any problem. On the focus Mk1 the mileage is only stored in the instrument cluster. If the instrument cluster is no longer showing the mileage and repair is not possible (technically or financially) there is no way to determine the actual mileage.

The car has 63000 and is in excellent condition but it is very sluggish especially in lower gears. When I pull off in 1st gear there is a lag and when I change
